Over the years, JCA has represented a diverse blend of manufacturers, each of which has roots in different market segments. This experience has given me a unique perspective on sales and marketing in the hospitality industry. I have gravitated toward those product categories that lend themselves to complexity, technicality and those that are generally central to the profitability of a food service operation. We specialize in advanced food equipment systems, from cook0chill to sous vide, blast chill, shock freeze, unique multi-stage food preparation processes using HACCP and knowledge of risk controls to deliver sustainable profitability.
It is our tradition at Johnson Commercial Agents to generate sales for our manufacturers in our territory and ensure their long term viability. My accounts are among the most technically advanced customers in the foodservice industry; so besides providing personal, hands-on support, I continue to provide dealers with new technologies and value-added capabilities to ensure the success of Johnson Commercial Agents and the manufacturers we represent. With my background as a principal Electrical Engineer my expertise extends beyond the purchasing department; I work with IT departments, CAD and Operations teams, all of whom can influence purchasing decisions for multi-units.

Gretchen is currently working on her PhD. in English Literature, and uses her experience in writing and communication to assist the JCA team in advertising, marketing and sales. Gretchen also attempts to organize the JCA office.
Mike is responsible for our Time Temp monitoring, Chicago Faucet, and Quick Chill products. Mike has had extensive experience as warehouse manager, and worked in the parts department for one of our foodservice dealer friends before joining JCA.
